A driver Go-Jek involved a dispute with a motorist in Jalan Kyai Tapa, Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta. As a result the Go-Jek rider suffered head injuries.

"Victims Go-Jek named Word Fajarianto (25), a resident of Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. The events occurred at around 18:30 pm in Jalan Kyai Tapa towards Daan, in front of the Sinar Minang Rumah Makan," said Kanit Criminal Police Tanjung Duren, AKP Antonius in a statement to AFP on Friday (14/08/2015).

The events began when the driver Go-Jek was carrying passengers passing Jalan Kyai Tapa. Suddenly a silver SUV type car driven by a man named Andrew overtaking motorcycle riders Go Jek and grazed foot passengers it carries.

"Then motorist stopped and confronting motorists Go-Jek and hit the rider using a safety lock the steering wheel. Motorists Go-Jek is shocked and beaten behind the punch reply using the helmet," said Antony.

As a result of the beating, the Word injured in the back of the head, top and forehead. "Then by the motorists to do the treatment at the Royal Hospital Trauma. After the medical procedure, the victim was injected tetanus, antibiotics and stitches in the wound as much as 12 stitches," he explained.

This incident is not renewed after the motorist and Go-Jek agreed to resolve it personally and provide compensation.

"Victims do not make a police report. Both sides are reconciled and the victim was taken home by the family, while the cost of the actions of doctors and medicines has been completed at a cost of US $ 1.4371 million," added Anthony.
